Emmanuel Juma
“The burden that God has put into my heart I consider a great blessing…I am able to share the gospel with people who have no knowledge of the Word of God.”
Emmanuel fell in love with the rich theological training he encountered at a CABU-Theological Studies by Extension block class and knew he had to study full-time. Sensing a strong ministry burden from the Lord, Emmanuel prepared himself by completing a Bible degree, the seminary programme, and a church internship. Kitwe Church then sent the Jumas to church plant in Juba, South Sudan, and later sent Alfred Yokoju (2022 grad) and his family to join them.
In May 2024, Community Bible Church was planted with 18 charter members. The children’s ministry is rapidly expanding, and they have launched the Silent Word Ministry to reach those with disabilities. What a blessing to see Emmanuel’s wife, Regina, use her sign language training to share the gospel with the deaf.
