Who We Are

Central Africa Baptist University exists to train the next generation of servant leaders in Africa for Great Commission living until Christ has been made known by reproducing gospel-preaching churches in every village, town, and city across Africa.

The mission of Central Africa Baptist University is to glorify God by advancing the Gospel of
the Lord Jesus Christ by equipping servant leaders to be pastors, evangelists, educators, and
trainers of Christian leaders for service to Christ our King across Africa.

This is to be accomplished through a God-honoring, Christ-centered, Scripture-saturated
educational program and environment unashamedly committed to the passionate worship of
God in truth, submission to the authority of Scripture, a life of personal holiness, the priority of
the local church, and the mission of evangelizing the world by making disciples and teaching
them to observe all things that Christ has commanded.

2. Obedience - Doing what I should do, when I should do it, and how I should do it, with the right heart, attitude, and spirit toward the authority asking me to do it.
3. Wisdom - Skill, ability, and insight gained from God’s word for the purpose of living a life that honors and glorifies God.
4. Service - Investing my life in ministry for the good of others rather than for the pleasure or advancement of self.

In Africa, the term "Baptist" quickly signals our theological beliefs in a region filled with false teachers and cults. CABU doesn't only train Christians who identify as "Baptist"; we also welcome leaders and partners from any background whose faith is accurately rooted in the Bible as the only authoritative Word of God.
